Learn how to build a natural Tiny House! Check out our workshop coming up May 23rd at Starseed Gardens, Byron Bay. Participants will have a hands on practical experience building a hemp, earth, cob and bamboo material Tiny House! You will learn how to design ecologically sustainable housing and at the larger scale entire villages using Permaculture design principles. Theory and practice of natural building materials, techniques and designs will also be covered. Contact Home Ecology for more details or Growing Roots Permaculture as listed on the flyer.
Bega Eco Neighbourhood was designed by a collaborative group including Home Ecology. Permaculture Designer and Teacher John Champagne led the design team. Home Ecology had significant input for the neighborhood layout design, with the road and walking access following natural contours, water harvesting and dam design, stormwater treatment design, waste water design and renewable energy and sustainable materials covenants. Home Ecology and Bunya Halasz of Growing Roots Permaculture led the permaculture site sector analysis pre-purchase.
